This Bubble tea shop is unusually situated right inside a shipping depot that processes packages and then delivers them to China. It makes the tea room feel like an underground operation straight out of a Chinese mafia film. Their drinks are very different compared to any other bubble tea place I have experienced while in Brisbane. Their black tea is much smokier than the standard English breakfast type teas which are typically used by other shops. In addition, their tapioca pearls are more al dente than most bubble tea shops (meaning their pearls are chewier and just a touch hard in the center). I think all bubble tea aficionados should at least try this style once. I personally prefer it.
The hygiene practices are a bit questionable. It is in a shipping depot after all, so not the cleanest place in the world. Even their giant bubble tea straws are not wrapped in plastic. Prices are about 10% less than nearby competitors.
