Not the pick of the local fish and chip shops. Live nearby — initially went a lot, but the food and service are just totally average. Wait times can be very long when it gets busy. Portion size not that generous for a fairly high price.

Not much to say… Took 10 minutes to start 2 coffees. Another few to be done. Arrived tasting burnt.
It’s a shame there weren’t many other options available at this time.

Nice selection of fish and the batter is good, if under-seasoned. Tartar sauce is good but the portion is too small.
The thing I don’t understand is their lack of malt vinegar. No malt vinegar in a fish and chips shop is bizarre.

Sadly, I looked at the reviews after I had already ordered.
Here’s the thing. Great location. Beautiful spot. Lots of places to eat there, or walk across the road and eat by the sea.
Food is okay. I’ve had cheaper, I’ve had more expensive, I’ve had nicer, I’ve had worse.
I read complaints about rude staff, but they were all polite enough, and despite quite a few people waiting when I got there, the order really didn’t take too long.
I was going to go for three stars, but I still have the vision in my head. One of the girls in the kitchen, removing her shoe, giving her foot a bit of a scratch, then wiping her hand ‘clean’ on her backside before going back to handling food.

Terrible and rude service. A simple order took 50 minutes to be cooked, while we waited in the hot standing area. When we enquired about our order we were not able to talk to a manager, and did not receive an apology, but did overhear the staff saying «$@€k them» which was not exactly an even even trade for the 50 minutes we gave up for an mediocre sandwich.
