This is pretty tiny compared to most Commonwealth Banks, but it’s great to finally have a branch down at Seaford. There’s one small counter, but it’s nice, and it makes it all feel a bit personal. Perhaps because there’s still a small clientele down at Seaford you hardly ever have to line up, usually you’re served straight away. If you do need more detailed discussions like getting a loan, or organising business banking, then of course there are private rooms to discuss them with your financial adviser/planner(whatever they’re actually called). A highlight for me is the coin counter. While I love counting coins at home, separating them into separate bags to bank can be a pain. Thank fully here all your coins go into this one machine and it sorts and counts them all for you. It even spits out the duds, funnily enough it didn’t want to take my 10¢ Fijian. Then just take the receipt up to the teller and they’ll credit it to your account. Even non Combank card holders can use this, but they will get charged a fee. Depositing cash here is always quick and easy, and I’ve always been greeted with a smile.
