Waited for over 30 minutes for 2 orders to be fulfilled in a relatively empty time (~10 people w 50% eating already) Staff were polite but seriously guys — it’s pancakes.
I had the bacon pancakes. Sadly this was mostly fatty rashers wrapped In pseudo fluffy pancake.
If your whole thing is about fine pancakes, you need to deliver fine pancakes.
As it stands, you’ll get a better meal from pancake parlour for a similar or cheaper price. Heck, even the hotcakes from Maccas are fluffier.

Jazz music plays in a country styled café whilst you peruse the menu. There’s savoury and sweet pancakes as well as burgers. I went for the Classic Stokers option of 2 pancakes with scrambled eggs with side additions of bacon, spinach and maple syrup. Yes folks, maple is a side and costs $ 1.
I was hankering for some thick fluffy pancakes so was slightly confused when golden folded crepes arrived. Also confusing was the presence of onions in my spinach. Nevertheless, the dish over all was very tasty and I was able to pick out the onions. Upon asking the waiter at the end re the crêpe consistence of the pancakes he kindly informed me that is the style of Stokers, a much thinner variety. Service was friendly and my dish was served promptly. Communal tables, tables for 2 and curb side dining available.

Decisions… decisions… savoury pancakes, sweet pancakes or exotic sweet pancakes?
As much as the Banana Flambé caught my attention, I decided to keep it simple for breakfast and got the egg & bacon pancake wrap.
Stokers delivered the goods! It was delicious! The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy, generous portions of bacon and the pancake that held it all together was amazing. I would love to try it with some syrup.
Best green tea latte I’ve had and I appreciated being greeted and served with a sincere smile.

Great spot for a bit of late evening fine dining when a lot of other options are closed. I very much enjoy their savoury pancakes and the hot chocolate mocha (with Cali chocolate) is great.

Worst service I’ve ever had.
Waitress had problems understanding English and remembering who had ordered what.
Ordered Chai Latte, was served a Coffee.
Ordered food with 11 friends, I was first to order, my breakfast was completely forgotten about. After I followed up with staff I had to wait 5 minutes for mine to be cooked from scratch. By the time it arrived my friends had already finished eating.
French Toast was amazing.

Wow!
Local shop. Epic coffee. Creative and simply fantastic pancakes (I had the feta and spinach). Friendly. Hell even the music is great (old-time Jazz). All this and not a hint of pretentiousness. I am happy… Ecstatic… To spend my money here!

Yummy coffee and pancakes.
We had the chicken and corn pancakes and the parma (yes!) pancakes. Both were delicious. Not too doughy, just right.
Service great and friendly, coffee nice and strong.
A hidden gem in South Melbourne.
