Zafran Curry Delights

We are cursed in that we live half way between here and Chapati House 2. Cursed because they are both amazing.
Situated in an unassuming shopping block, only a couple of doors down from one of the best Chinese places in town, Zafran Curry Delights is one of my absolute favourite take away places. And they are open until 10.30pm for your after hours noms. By the time you phone in your order, put pants on and drive there your food is ready!
As creatures of habit (and mediocre cheap skates) we tend to order the ‘you and me’ deal, which comfortably feeds myself and my garbage-​desposal-​stomached partner for dinner *plus* lunch the next day.
Included for the low price of thirty five bucks you get two mains, a large rice, 2 plain naan, a couple of pappadams and either a serve of chicken tikka or sheekh kebab. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CHOOSE THE TIKKA! Of all the things that have been done to chicken this is by far my favourite, it’s juicy and tasty and I could eat a bucket of it.
Our usual mains are the beef vindaloo, which they will make extra spicy for you if you ask, and the chicken tikka marsala (which does have a small surcharge if you’re getting the meal deal).
