Fresh Nails And Footspa

Advertised ‘Spa Pedicure & Foot Massage $ 50′ in window, they no longer had this available– minimal effort required to take down a paper sign. Went ahead with a pedicure. My feet were in the bath, which was at best lukewarm. The spa wasn’t turned on, so I asked if it could be, she said no. I noticed nobody else had the spa on either–
Maybe the chairs are out of order but since the place is called ‘Fresh Nails Footspa’, you’d expect the spa to actually work.
Three of the ladies spoke to each other, pointing at the foot bath, eventually someone came over and turned it on.
Nails turned out okay.

This salon is extremely hit or miss — sadly, more times than not, mostly miss.
Having visited for both manis, pedis and shellac many times over the past six months, I have been seen to by several different staff members.
Nearly every time I have visited, I have received crooked nails, the WRONG colour, or shellac that has peeled right off after a couple of days.
My advice to those who visit is to keep a very close eye on the manicurist and request that they re-​file your crooked nails — and that the nail polish colour they use on you is actually the colour you have selected! Both are issues that I have had more than once. [DO NOT even bother with a french manicure!!!]
That said, I have had a good manicure here before; but I literally had to watch like a hawk and request several times that my nails be filed again and again to get them straight /​neat… should that really be necessary for a $ 50 mani? I’m not particularly precious about my nails, but working in a corporate environment, I do like to have neat professional nails.
The salon is appealing because it is big and spacious and there is hardly ever a wait to get a seat; however, the poor service [you will definitely be surrounded by smirking staff speaking loudly in another language!] and the gamble of not knowing how your nails are going to look, means that I would not recommend this salon to anyone.
I would like to think that paying a premium price ensures a premium service. I understand that there are sometimes circumstances [new staff, extremely busy etc] that mean that this won’t always happen.
Having visited this salon several times, I can assure you that sloppy and disappointing results are consistent at Fresh Nails & Footspa.
Give this one a miss.

Used a chemical of some sorts and burned my wife’s leg. When we asked what happened, the employees did not say what was used. Scarring may have occurred and I am deeply concerned.
I do not provide such reviews but I am very unhappy and concerned for the public in this case.
