Love going to Bangkok Delight. The variety of food choice is great. Not only do they do great traditional Thai food like pad thai and green chicken curry, but they also have other different dishes on the menu as well! The restaurant itself has a very nice outdoor setting and is also situated in the heart of St Lucia ‘village’ where other restaurants are located as well so the atmosphere during dinner time is great! The price point isn’t bad for a Thai restaurant and they do $ 11.90 student deals as well. Service is very quick and efficient. The owner is a lovely Thai lady. Im always satisfied each time I go there.

Gotta love a local takeaway that knows the difference between mild, medium and spicy and is relatively inexpensive. Bangkok Delights has this down-pat — and their Massaman curry(or as they say — Ma Sa Mun curry) is pretty damn moreish(yes it served as both a dinner and a breakfast feast…). The restaurant itself is fairly simple in design, with plenty of outdoor seating spaces which are always packed with college students and couples every night of the week. Despite the fact that they always seem to be busy(and with a continuous take-away trade), the service is always speedy and very friendly. For those rainy nights in where you just can’t be bothered to cook — the $ 13 take-away deal features the most popular dishes(Massaman curry with beef, pad Thai, chicken green curry and cashew nuts with beef), with a serve of rice and a can of soft drink. Oh and a medium level of spice does actually come with a burst of heat, so maybe avoid ordering hot unless you don’t want to be able to feel your mouth for the next hour or so.

Bangkok Delight isn’t your only choice of Thai food in what is known at «The Ville» in St Lucia. However, it does have pretty darn good Thai Food at good prices. It is also situated in the more restaurant style side of Hawken Drive, next to Curry Connections and near Edamame Japanese and Salt and Battery. While Bangkok Delights is take-away as well, it has quite a nice ambiance about it which makes me happy to dine in most of the time. You have your choice of either indoor or outdoor seating and the service is pretty friendly all round. They are not afraid to make the food hot here at your request. And by hot I mean nose sniffling, lip tingling chili covered hot. Just the way I like it. Definitely worth a visit.
