To say there is not a lot to choose from in Surfers Paradise if you are after something nice is the understatement of the century. Even asking fellow Unilocalers, i came up empty handed. I have seen more irish pubs in surfers than i imagine there are in the whole of ireland itself. We had walked past this place the night before when going to woolies for some groceries. It had a chef that was cooking stuff up amidst giant fireballs the night before we dined there and thought it was worth a shot. When we first walked past i had to ask about vegetarian options as i didn’t want my veggies/tofu cooked along side the meat teppanyaki style. They assured me that my veggies would be done separately. When we came back an hour later, it was still pretty quiet and we chose a table out the front rather than in front of the grill(with the crazy dude cooking food up right in front of your face). The service here was amazing and the food service really quick. We tried both hot and cold sake, and as a personal preferecne i would order the cold, the warm just seemed not quite right. The food was amazing and i just couldn’t stop eating! i even managed to eat my entire meal with chopsticks which is no mean feat for me. The price was reasonable and i would definately recommend if you are after something other than pub food. We had a great night and the service was really amazing. The watiresses were very friendly and certainly made us feel welcome!
