While the coffee and the polenta were amazing the the service was very ordinary and the other breakfasts sounded great but the taste didnt match. Great for a quick takeaway coffee but not for a weekend relaxed morning session.

Good coffee. Really nice atmosphere. However, on personally taste I prefer the coffee at Sample, which is just a few doors down. Even though Sample is a touch more expensive. But Sample doesn’t have the seating that Di Bella has. And it should go with out saying that Di Bella has a lot more options for food. So if you want lunch go to Di Bella, however if you want great coffee(and nothing really else) then go to Sample.

Been coming here since the day it opened. It’s a good sized place, with coffee beans and machines on sale, in addition to the usual café fare. Service has been good when I’ve been here, and the coffee is some of my favourite. If you buy a bag of beans, you get a free coffee — Talking to the staff about you preferred flavours and beans, and making a blend on the spot is fun!

Amazing coffee, awesome prices, super friendly staff and quick service. This place is an absolute all rounder and amazing competitor in the Surry Hills coffee market. I haven’t found anywhere that does what it does so well yet as well the staff not making you feel like an annoying loser for being there

WOW — This was a favoriate of some locals that lived in the area and it quickly became a regular spot for me to go even though it was an extra few blocks past my usual route. The roasting occurs right there so if you are lucky enough to be there when it happens you just have to breathe in to enjoy. I’ve had the slow cold drop coffee here as a sample but I keep coming back for their regular blend cappucinos. They do have single origin coffee sometimes and they’re fun to try but listen to their description and make sure you like what you here because they are serious about the flavours in those single origin beans. There is tough competition down the street but Di Bella is holding its own so far. Lots of seating inside but there is an outdoor table if you are lucky. They also have a take away window. Highly recommended and in my top 5 coffee shops in Sydney.

The Di Bella coffee is fantastic, and when the opportunity presented itself to eat here I jumped. Quesadilla was fantastic, well made, chunks of chicken, nice spicy salsa although odd shapes of tomato, and great flavours. Tortilla was crisp and light — all yumy goodness. My buddy’s steak sanger looked spectacular, and he certainly didn’t speak much while eating — his mouth was constantly full! Recommended.

I’ve been here a few times for coffee but they have an interesting food menu too. They sell heaps of different varieties to take home and various coffee making equipment. Their coffee is a bit cheaper than other cafes, under $ 3 for a cappuccino is almost unheard of in Sydney! They are also super nice and helpful, no attitude, and even gave us a free sample of ground beans to take home! The place is pretty spacious so there is room for our baby in her pram too.

Another great coffee place in Surrey Hills! Taking a break between checking out rental properties a friend and I checked out this lovely little place on Holt Street. The venue is nice, for the surrey hills area the space inside is huge, and there is plenty of space to grab a table and catch up with a few friends without all the elbows and bodies usually associated with some of the great cafes in the area. The industrial warehouse style they have going is quite cool, and works well for them. A big plus — they do their own roasting, which I am always a very big fan of. Off the bat I would say that I do not have the best memories of Di Bella coffee, I wouldn’t normally rate it with my favourite coffees in Sydney — but the coffee here was really good, and very well made Coffee: Double macchiato Bean: Di Bella Crema: Good 8⁄10 Overall Taste: Good 810 Served in: Small glass(+1) Preparation: Well prepared, well poured, maybe slightly more milk then I would usually like I would definitely go back

Living close to this place I envoy going there for either breakfast/lunch as the food is as good as the coffee :)

If you’ve been searching for the definitive coffee store in Sydney look no further. These guys know coffee. You name it… if its coffee related, they have it. You are struck immediately by the industrial style roasting equipment which is the centrepiece of a fairly large space. This is a shop, a café, a wholesaler and speciality store all in one. Coffee machines, percolators and all sorts of equipment line the walls. Then there is the bean section where you can select your beans of choice. And of course, a few highly qualified baristas waiting to serve you with one of their many special blends. Di Bella has exploded onto the Australian coffee scene over the last 7 years. It supplies many retailers and has opened many of these types of stores which take the coffee experience to a whole new level. If you’re a coffee fan, you simply have to pay them a visit.
