Right under my nose! like literally. My colleagues who are regulars here highly recommended this place and yeah they know good food! So yeah what’s a veggie going to eat here! their most awesome Lentil Burger. Trust me you have to try it. Deep fried (hear the crunch) nicely packed with pickles and salad (read appetizing) and served with crinkled potato fries (read guilty!:P). To sum up. this is not one of those gotta have a veggie burger on the menu kinda burgers. I am definitely going back. Others in the group ordered the New York Burger and Nachos and seemed quite happy.

80 Proof is a fun little bar/​restaurant on George st. It has a real speakeasy feel to it, with its exposed brick, dark lighting and Americana on the walls.
The drinks are reasonably priced for the city and the food it rather good.
Try out the Pork Belly burger it is really well done. Would happily order that again.

Monday’s are the toughest day of the week, right? So why on earth do most bars close on the one night when everyone is gagging for a drink at the end of the day?
80 Proof comes to the rescue in Sydney’s CBD, offering a decent booze selection and plenty of seats in a strange subterranean location. The signage alludes to a fancy-​pants prohibition era style bar, but really it’s more mainstream with a tiny touch of hipster thrown in. I’m not complaining. While I might not hit this place up for a whizz-​bang cocktail, it would be on my list for an easy to drink glass of Pinot at an easy to swallow price tag.
There’s loads of seating and a bit of everything on the food and booze menu, so imagine it would keep the after work corporate crowds happy.

Very chill and cozy place to hang out (Can’t comment on weekends, but its nice to hang out during the week after work).
The tacos are nice, and the drink selection good. The place is a bit hard to find but I guess it could be a good thing because its also a nice place thats not too noisy to have a conversation.
