Ilona Sophie Brow Specialist

Oh man, Ilona is the real thing. There was a mix-​up with schedules at my previous brow place so I decided to try someplace new.
She’s pricier than your average waxing/​threading salon at $ 60 per session, but she’s an expert, and it shows. She really took the time out to analyze my eyebrows and face shape, asked me if I was happy with the shape of my brows, then gave her recommendations, marking areas on my face where the brow «points» were supposed to go. She described the «natural» state of my brows, pointing out parts where they were uneven and what could be done to fix it.
My previous brow exploits had taken out too much from under the brow, so she recommended growing out that bit while tidying my brows. She then showed me how to put on eyebrow makeup properly.
I’ve only gone once, but I have been really happy so far, can’t wait for my next appointment!
Also, you know how, after you have your eyebrows waxed/​threaded, you usually leave with those areas a red, splotchy mess? For some reason, this didn’t happen here. I did get a fair amount of eyebrow hair removed but I did not look red or splotchy.
Only negative thing is she is pretty booked! I had asked to be put on a waitlist, fortunately a spot opened up and I was able to get an appointment that week. Yay!
