Mantra on Kent

Hotel bem localizado a poucos passos do Darlinghurst Harbor e a curta distância do Barangaroo. Do hotel é possível ir a pé até a Ópera house a uma caminhada de 3 km. Próximo também da Chinatown e outros parques. Tem estrutura boa de quartos com facilidades para longas estadias.

The good: Pleasant staff. Accommodated my odd schedule, including leaving several bags with them over a long weekend. Sent a bottle of wine to the room when the heat was broken for a couple of days. Comfy bed, clean and comfortable room. Great location allows easy access to Darling Harbour and CBD.
The bad: The second or third night in our room, after we had moved in for our two week stay, the heat broke in our room (with great fanfare and a nice electrical fire smell!). The fix took a couple days during which the only accommodation they made was a loud space heater. When the light stopped working in the kitchen, after several days of calling and complaining, I just gave up and cooked in the dark.
The bottom line: Nothing fancy, but a fine place to stay when nothing is broken.

Great location in the CBD and close to Darling Harbour and all it’s attractions.
Mantra has a great deal on breakfast if you pre book at reception.
