We were staying in the Menzies, which is a very short walk from the Metcentre. We didn’t wan to pay hotel prices for laundry, and these folks were so very close. We just took a simple bag of laundry to be done (just wash and fold). They said it would be done in 24 hours. And it was — washed and folded. Saved at least $ 50, and we were able to continue our visit in Sydney. Recommend!

This place has one of the best deals locally for dry cleaning men’s and ladies’ business shirts (five for $ 17). At Maurice Dry Cleaners, you know your clothes will be looked after; despite competition in the area, they continue to be packed, especially in the mornings when you see the commuters lining up. For anyone who has to wear a suit to work you’ll be hard pressed to find a better dry cleaner in the Wynyard area, near the station. They’re also very professional with delicate garments, leather and suede.
