A haven for the chocoloate lover, Max Brenner brings out the best in all that is cocoa, sugar and cream based. Set up as a modern, yet homey café, it is the perfect place to catch up with friends over dessert or enjoy a quiet cuppa with a newspaper by yourself. Of course, the focus here is the chocolate. Truffles, cakes, melted dipping sauce and waffles are only a few of the offerings here, and I have loved every thing I’ve tried so far(Caution: I am a chocolate addict). If you are feeling brave, try a chocolate shot, or perhaps the choc banana pizza. Im a waffles girl myself. I like to wash it all down with a herbal tea, rather than a hot chocolate, just to break it up. Their teas come loose leaf in a straining pot that is super cute and really brings out the flavours. The peppermint tea goes perfectly with any chocolate dessert — or pehaps a vanilla tea is more to your taste. Nevertheless, if this review has left your mouth watering in any way, definitely give it a try. It can get busy at this location, so if you are running in and out you would be better going else where. Otherwise, I’ll see you there. Chocolate fondue anyone?
