Romeos is an institution in Toorak Village, with its italian feel hitting you as you approach it form the warm welcome, to the décor and of course the menu. Always busy, with a little celebrity spotting on the cards as the locals just love it here. Traditional italian menu, great sizes and on occasions a little too generoous so be careful and reconsider entre. A good wine list for a standard family style Italian restauraunt, not too fancy. Seating is a little tight and you are quite close to neighbours. Upstairs has a little more room or if it is a nice night the outdoor tables at the front are great. Overall a good quick meal can be had a Romeos and they do great take away.

Large portions, we chose 3 entrees to share family style for a group of 5. This was plenty if you’re saving room for their spectacular crepes. My favorite, Lemon & Herb chicken.

Well, if it’s good enough for Derryn Hinch, it’s good enough for me! We walked in and saw him enjoying some coffee in the corner. Great little coffee place on Toorak Road. Very wooden inside, reminiscent of a ski chalet. A few tables and chairs outside. The coffees were hot, tasty and the staff were efficient and friendly. I went upstairs to find the bathroom and thought how nice the upstairs would be for private functions or venue hire.

Best spot in town for Blintzes! If you don’t know what a blintz is, which most people don’t, I will forgive you. I won’t however forgive you if don’t try them at least once in your life. A blintz at Romeo’s is a cholesterol injection of sweet cheese and raisins wrapped in a crape with your choice of either cream or ice cream or both and some fruit. The blintzes by all means is not the only reason to come here, the food is amazing and you get very large portions, defiantly what you pay for. Always lovely staff and speedy service this is one of my favourite places to dine.
