You know what, I thought this was Indian food at first glance. But it’s Japanese. They have a handful of signature dishes, the beef curry, chicken katsu curry, spicy chicken curry, vegetarian. All come with rice and salad, medium or large sizes. Let me tell you buckaroo, that small Japanese lady serving can slab on a fair bit of food into the styrofoam container… so much so she doesn’t even bother closing the lid. For $ 8.50 you get what you get. The signature beef curry was overly salty for my taste, slapping the massive salad on top of the curry which was on top of the rice next to roast potatoes, capsicum and carrot *may* have been overkill? I’m not sure i’ll be back, but I can see how the university students who frequent Toowong Village would think it was value for money with such a big serving. With the likes of Hanaichi and Hakataya hanging around, these guys will have to up their game. Especially since they are located right next to a sushi/yakitory/japanese katsu serving place as well.
