Great coffee, best in the area. Hours are a bit all over the shop but if you catch them while they’re open you’re onto a winner. Real chocolate used on cappuccinos, quality milk used.

Nowhere Espresso sits in an unassuming pocket of Toowong and over hearing a conversation this morning, one café patron hit the nail on the head: «It’s funny when you see the community come together at a new business. There’s just that kind of vibe here.» And she’s right. The two mornings I’ve been to Nowhere this week have been broken up by locals dropping in and out being spoken to by name and hearing updates of their lives, their children and more. It’s a very similar vibe to when you visit Antonia and Brad at PUK Espresso in Kangaroo Point. It’s this that makes your Mambo coffee that much sweeter. They’re still waiting on a food licence, so for now, it is a selection of cakes and some sandwiches. There’s complimentary Wi-​Fi too and a kitchen table in the shop next door perfect for a work session surrounded by beautiful things.
