We were 5 mins late due to heavy traffic. We rang ahead but no answer. They were annoyed when we arrived. I was rushed to a room and explained very fast what I was having & because I was late they had to shorten my treatment. The lady was amazing with the facial but when left to relax I was wondering when I was going to be kicked out. The next room had a machine that helps with removing body toxins. It freaked me out a bit. I’m glad I went to the toilet before the treatment. The lady stayed for a few minutes until I relaxed. Then she told me she was going to start the facial treatment and left the room. I opened my eyes to see where she was and coped an eyeful of green laser. Unprepared I was stuck with my eyes closed with this laser going across my face and pumps tightening my body. I was asked if I wanted to proceed or not but gave it a go as my husband surprised me with a voucher. but it reminded me of when I was in hospital when I couldn’t move. I had a panic attack. No one came in till the end. Another lady came to un-velcro me and asked how I went. I mentioned how I hated it. She replied with ‘oh.did you want some water?’ I replied ‘no’ and was asked to go to the desk. I tried to act happy not to upset my husband but he could see in my face how stressed I looked. The lady at the desk said ‘sorry you didn’t enjoy your experience, if you come back maybe don’t book that treatment’ and then waved us goodbye. The facial and results were amazing but the staff seemed stressed and un-personabled. Maybe the vouchers have put them under pressure. Thanks again for your treatments. A bit more professional direction might make your place rock. You have great treatments just need a softer touch.

Following the other reviews(Jenny B and Laura D in particular), SABR medi spa gets the job done with limited frills attached. I got a great IPL groupon voucher for 6 sessions in two different places and the response has been so successful that it’s almost impossible to get an appointment. Nevertheless, props to the company to bringing in new clients, but I doubt that I’ll visit again after I’ve finished my groupon voucher. There doesn’t seem to be any personal touches or serious thought into the spa to make it a relaxing space to be in — just queues of women wanting hairless bodies. Some candles, essential oils or calming music would do the trick and aren’t that expensive to put into place. Overall, prices are very reasonable and there is plenty of parking available, but I just don’t think it’s anything special.

Jenny B’s review really sums up my sentiments exactly. SABR’s prices are dramatically cheaper than other salons, particularly for microdermabrasion and IPL. The interior and service is somewhat reflective of the cheap price, it lacks any kind of nice finishes and you won’t get any hot towels or free lattes here. For me I don’t mind, as I’m on a budget and am looking for the cheapest price, but SABR is definitely not somewhere you would go for a relaxing treatment, as you’re usually moved from room to room, with none of the nice touches other salons offer. If you’re looking for the cheapest price possible on IPL and micro this is the place to go. Best to try it out once and if you’re happy with the result, get a package of treatments to get the best price.

I am supposed to have a fat blasting session for 1 hour but unfortunately the shape machine are broken so instead of coming back they give me 1 hour and 15mins laserlipo session which is fair enough, the room are clean and cosy with relaxing music that I cant help but feel sleepy during my entire session since I was just alone in the room. Staff are accommodating and answered my queries, so I think this is a good experience.

Today, I received a pamper treatment which included a microdermabrasion, facial mask, lymphatic massage and LED treatment. It was amazing. The other day when I had went in to book my appointment, they were extremely busy so I thought that they might not do a rush job. But not at all. I got Sharon and she’s a sweetheart. She knows exactly what she’s doing. My skin looks better already.

SABR Medi Spa located in Tuart Hill has had several groupon offerings at a reasonable pricing. SABR is a «cost-effective» spa meaning if orchids, Egyptian-cotton towels, and general aesthetics are a priority to you… keep moseying. I was a bit dismayed at what I strolled up to. The friendly(and smooth!) faces kept my worries at bay. The groupon was a bit misleading or perhaps I didn’t read it thoroughly. The highlight was the facial by far, as it was the only thing performed by a ‘person’(yes, you read right). It was relaxing but through the walls and above the Sirius jams, I could still hear the front desk. I was then asked to redress and to wait for my next ‘treatment’. I am not sure what it was called but I’d classify it more on the strange scale than relaxing. I was hooked up to a giant blood pressure cuff on the legs, arms, abdomen that continually contracted and released(to the point of being uncomfortable in the arms). This process is suppose to release toxins. This was done in a room of two people(so, yes I was laying near a stranger). A lamp of some anti-aging quality spun around my head. The following and last ‘treatment’ was laying in a black capsule while water jets ran up and down my body while not getting wet. I found this again to be different as the capsule is a one-size fit all, so my legs/feet didn’t feel any of the jets. The water was also not warm/hot, so I didn’t get the relief that heat can provide. My face, being face down, was moisturized from the facial and kept slipping about. I am laughing as I write this, thinking of what sight I must of been. Perhaps SABR is from the future?! Nevertheless, it was friendly staff in clean conditions. Currently, they don’t have a doctor available to do more of the extreme ‘treatments’(like Botox) but I overheard when they do, it is about $ 16 a vile so perhaps SABR is less-expensive on all accounts. While I personally would go back for the inexpensiveness, I wouldn’t gift a friend for lack of the W-O-W factor.

I was given a 2 hour pamper package for mother days, it was one of those is count deals. I expected little because I knew they generally rush you through, but at an hour and 15 minutes at best, I was actually shocked. Considering it was a pamper package, the only contact I had was my 10 minute(and I mean for them both together) facial and foot massage. The lymphatic massage was an air machine, the hydrotherapy massage was a big capsule. The only reason I have any stars at all was because the staff were so friendly. I was asked at the end if I wanted to rebook, I think not.
