It’s hard to fault, always super fresh, made while you wait delicious sushi. Staff always very friendly I often order for conferences at work and at least once a week for my own lunch. They even offer brown rice which more places should do. I can’t go past a large roll, brown rice, half salmon and avo half chicken teriyaki and avo. Fabulous everytime!!!

I love sushi and eat a lot of it, but t&j is the best sushi I have had so far. Everything is made fresh, and the staff are so friendly. They make fantastic sushi, their cooked tuna is hands down the best I have had, i like to get medium tuna and avacado rolls($ 5). If you’re sharing try the teriyaki«special» roll, it’s delish and unique to t&J, at least i haven’t seen it anywhere else, it’s vegetable roll topped with teriyaki chicken and drizzled in japanese mayo and bbq sauce, really good for sharing! As is the large Tempura king prawn roll also — it’s a lot too finish on your own. They have their own special sauce which I don’t think I’ve had anywhere else. Oh yeah I also love the grilled salmon sushi, and the agedashi tofu, and the tempura udon… i could go on but I won’t. Two thumbs up!

If you aren’t familiar with T&J Fresh Sushi you will probably never be lucky enough to stumble upon it. It is located in the courtyard of an apartment complex on Mountain Street and Broadway. I can only hope someone is clever enough to search for ‘sushi’ and will find this review. I was never avid fan of sushi so I didn’t really eat it all that often. But things changed when I found T&J Fresh Sushi. Now I order by phone for the whole office so frequently that they remember me by name. We mix up our orders and ask for half half, which they are always happy to do. I used to go for the Large Roll($ 10) but found I could never finish it so now I stick with the Medium Roll($ 5) of half vegetable beef teriyaki and half avocado prawn tempura. Paired with their ‘special sauce’ and a dash or two of soy, it is hands down the best sushi I have ever had. I have also tried the Gyoza($ 7) but as they are deep fried, I don’t enjoy them as much as the Chinese steamed ones. I can’t stress enough how lovely the staff are, always so friendly and genuinely happy to see you. There is some basic seating that spills into the courtyard, a great place to eat your lunch in the sun.
