Well this is a tough one. I absolutely love this venue and it’s totally outstanding for live music. We recently went to see Hozier and in terms of the acutal venue and artist it was amazing. What really annoyed me was –firstly they said you couldn’t take rugs so we didn’t take one but we took a blanket as it was cold and when we arrived we were not allowed to bring in a blanket and we were cold. I think you could specify blankets as well as rugs –They said we could buy bottles of wine there but when we arrived they only served glasses of wine and after a long battle through the crowds to get to the bar they had run out of all wine –The food was terrible A few issues like I mention above really left a sour taste in my mouth and I usually cannot say enough good things about this venue. Sort it out and have less of the nanny state mentality please!

I absolutely adore Belvoir as a venue for any musical act. It’s tucked away in the Swan Valley and simply gives the show an element of magic. Keep in mind it gets hot during the day, especially down the bottom. There’s plenty of parking, but does take a bit to get out at the end(doesn’t matter though, gives you more time to relive the show).

This venue offers an atmosphere of pure magic. The levels are all perfectly set so everyone has tons of space to dance while having an awesome view of the stage. It gets pretty hot during the day and the breeze won’t reach you if you’re at the bottom, so as previously mentioned it’s a bummer water costs so much. I just drink crazy amounts of fluids and eat right before heading out. Breakfest here is in my opinion the best music festival I have been to in Perth. Can’t wait till next year!

Belvoir is an awesome venue. It’s absolutely beautiful and definitely worth the journey out east. I was last there in January for a festival, and during Flume’s set I felt something on my foot. I looked down and there was a frog. I was a bit startled at first, but it’s kind of nice, don’t you think? NATURE’S THEBEST! However, as lovely as it is, I shouldn’t have to pay $ 5 for a small bottle of water.

One of the best music venues in Perth. There’s not much to be said that hasn’t already been said by all the other reviewers. The open air, bush setting of this venue is fabulous and makes for a great live music experience. Be warned however that the food choices are often very poor and the food and drinks prices are always very high(like most music events or festivals). Also be prepared to enjoy the comfort of your car after the show as it can take quite a long time to get out of the carparking area.

Great venue for live music. Everywhere you sit gives you a great view. Tips — bring a small cushion to sit on to avoid a numb bum, and bring a coat, it’s an open venue so gets chilly at night.

Nestled in the Swan Valley and sheltered by surrounding gum trees, you’ll feel that you’re a part of something magical at Belvoir. You’ll also probably feel like you’re in the film Fern Gully or in a May Gibbs drawing. Over the years I have seen many kinds of musical acts here, from MGMT to Arrested Development. Every act no matter how famous and well travelled will always have to take a moment when they come out on stage to believe the unique sight they are seeing. Rows and rows of hundreds of dancing people covering the many levels of the amphitheatre, with the sun setting behind them. The sunset at Belvoir is always enhanced by all the red dust being stirred up from the ground and into the air from all the dancing feet. Probably the greatest music venue of all time, or maybe an equal first with the Hollywood Bowl. When visiting Belvoir you’ll find yourself thinking how lucky you are to live in Perth and have such an amazing venue to go to.

Belvoir Amphitheatre is a beautiful open-air amphitheatre nestled amongst the gum trees. The lovely surroundings, plus the gentle slope of the seating, means that you can receive a good view of the stage from almost all angles. Acoustics-wise, Belvoir is excellent. The shape of the amphitheatre means that the sound travels clearly around the entire venue. The amphiteatre is deceptive in appearances — while it seems small from a distance, it is surprisingly roomy and can hold several thousand without a problem. As the seating is basically on grass, the amphitheatre is intimate and lends itself well to roots/blues and atmospheric artists. The Belvoir Amphitheatre is a great venue to listen to artists, while soaking up the beauty of natural bushland.

This is by far the greatest live music venue in Perth, and dare I say Australia. The Opera House has nothing on Belvoir. Located in Upper Swan, about 40 minutes out of Perth, this secluded spot is absolutely amazing. It is an amphitheater, so walls go up and up from the stage for people to stand or sit on, and ensure that everyone can see and hear the act, amongst the gum trees of the Swan Valley. There is a bar and plenty of room to chill out on the grass at the top of the ampitheatre should you feel like a break. My favourite part is that there is one stage, so when festivals are held there you never miss out on an act, as they all play one after another.
