We decided to try out Mojos on a recommendation and were severely disappointed with both the food and service. First of all they almost refused to deliver to us in the CBD saying we were too far(our friends in the same building had it delivered with no problems) then offered to deliver to us for an extra fee of $ 6 which we reluctantly obliged too. Not only did our food literally take 2 hours to get to us but it was cold and safe to say disgusting. Ordered the banana pizza and Peking duck and basically threw them away after a slice of each. Definitely wont be coming back to Mojos which is sad as the menu does look very interesting.

Have ordered from here many times with usually ok service and good pizza. However my most recent experience was horrid. Ordered a pizza with no chicken. Easy. Mojos claim they did not receive the note however. I called to enquire, was spoken to by the manager like I was a moron. Not happy. Plus side: the website I ordered through refunded my cash. So thanks for the free pizza mojos. It’s in the bin along with any future business.

For a takeaway pizza joint Mojo’s is quite good. The menu is eclectic, but I tend to always go for the«Port Melbourne», which is a very nice pizza. Pizzas are cooked on one of those conveyer built ovens, which I am usually a bit dubious about. However in this case I make an exception — their pizzas are good. Mojo’s has a liquor license and you can eat at the tables outside if you are feeling desperate or are homeless.

I was a bit dubious about a place that describes itself as weird pizza, but I’m willing to give anything a go. This place is a classic little takeaway pizza joint with a few tables on the street for those that don’t live near by. That’s where the classic stops. The menu is full of odd pizza toppings like spaghetti or cous cous, and from reports from my friend, they’re all pretty good. Also the colour scheme of the dwelling is a test for the eyes with blues and yellows with bright greens and orange. I decided on the Ali Baba, which for me wasn’t too weird. Adding a few extra jalapeños was the icing on the cake, it tasted fantastic. The pizza base was crunchily perfect and the right combination of toppings made me wanting more. Which I did, and ate too much. These pizzas are filling too — my only caution: don’t eat too much!

For some reason ordering pizza seems to be a constant source of frustration for me in Melbourne. I can’t seem to get it right. In this instance, I did ok. I ordrered the ALi Baba(Capsicum, cheese, feta, hot salami, napoli sauce, olives, onions and pumpkin). I can’t remember what size I ordered but this pizza was seriously big — and loaded with ingredients. It was a bit of a cross between the traditional pizza hut/domino’s style pizza(with a thickish crust and base) and the more gourmet style pizza — piled with delicious ingredients. But not enough cheese! Although I think this could be a Melbourne issue as I’ve had this problem several times before when ordering pizzas! It was hard to choose because the Mojo Menu is filled with many weird and wonderful creations and at $ 21.90 for a family sized pizza I reckon this is good value for money. The delivery was on time and the delivery guy very friendly. I’d order from here again and ask for extra cheese!
