I ordered the Combination Sweet and Sour, Deluxe Lg fried rice & Duck with BBQ pork and mushrooms. The combination sweet and sour was good, well flavoured and cook well, vegetables cooked perfectly and nice flavour. The Large deluxe fried rice was great and cooked perfectly. The Duck was cooked beautifully soft and delicious, the vegetables was crunchy and crisp and sauce was thick and nice. The food was delivered promptly and warm. Well priced. The only complaint I have is the duck was missing the mushroom. I thoroughly checked the entire container for them seeing as I was craving them so badly and honestly couldn’t see even the tiniest of piece of it. Maybe they were cut too small for me to see, either way it was a good meal. Will be ordering again from them but will ask for the mushrooms to be in bigger chucks. I did like the food. Worth it

What do you do with a former library? Open a Chinese restaurant of course. The crew behind Heng Loong (headed by husband and wife duo Winnie and Eddie) have been at various locations for more than 20 years before settling in this Wallsend location.
The food is ‘modern Australian Chinese’ with plenty of variety for even then fussiest diner. We were dining in a group of six and managed to try something for everyone by sharing the dishes we ordered. It was like a DIY banquet.
With regular check-ins by the owner herself it was a great place to share dinner with a group.
Try house specialities like the Hong Kong steak or Mary’s Treasure Basket.
