Perth, Australia
Food, staff and atmosphere are all great. Specifically the atmosphere — it’s a proper English pub but without the claustrophobic, tiny rooms in most English pubs. This one has a nice open concept, but doesn’t sacrifice that slightly more intimate feeling that most people seek at English pubs.
But the beer is what keeps people coming back! Locally brewed beer on tap, absolutely fantastic.
Also last thing worth mentioning — I judge places on the amount of regulars/​locals. If it’s all people on holiday, there’s probably a reason for that. This place is full of regulars, which is reaffirming. I’ll definitely be going back.

Have been twice now since the first experience was so good! Lovely atmosphere, good menu options including three or more vegetarian options which is great for the area, large meals, good kids options and colouring for the kids to do while they wait (which isn’t long even on really busy days). Reasonable prices. Definitely going back.
