This is a delightful location in a very gentrified area of GIppsland. The winery sits on a hillside with beautiful views. The building itself is clean, modern and has plenty of glass to take advantage of the natural light and wonderful scenery. The food here is freshly prepared, and our table of 4 generally enjoyed the meal. My chicken scaloppini was nice, but a bit too heavy and cheesy. Another had the beef cheek which was very tasty and tender. On the light menu(which has huge portions, just to warn you!), another friend enjoyed the meatballs, but the other friend thought his lamb fry was overdone a bit. My only real complaint was that the waitress got a bit defensive when simply asked by our friends if they could get their dessert, after we waited a very long time. The restaurant got a bit busy, but nobody was short with her, so there was no need to get so catty. Incidentally, the wines there are quite nice — check out the chardonnay and the cab sauv, although the shiraz was not too bad either! Definitely worth a visit, and consider booking as it got very full on a Sunday afternoon.
