What can I say — I love this place. After wandering around Warrnambool on Easter Saturday night checking out all of the watering holes, this place turned out to be the place that I ended up sitting myself down and spending the rest of the night. I reminded me of one of those really cool inner city pubs you find in Melbourne, only it’s in Warrnambool. It certainly appeals to the younger crowd, but I never felt out of place here, and the tunes they pumped out were nothing short of awesome. In fact I loved the place so much I dragged my friend back the next day to discover that they also have live music. Oh, they also have a pretty decent selection of craft beer on tap, as well as a nice array of wine. Definitely a place to visit if you are looking for a nightspot in Warrnambool.

Nice, friendly pub in the heart of Warrnambool. A great selection of beers on tap and generous food. The bar is decorated in a modern American Saloon style, creating a unique and casual environment. I’d go back again.

Located in the city centre of Warrnambool, a reliable option for a business lunch in a dining room setting. Typical pub dining room lunch menu with some prices veering towards Melbourne prices, which I always find amusing in the country. Dinner menu prices are especially Melbourne-ish. Service is friendly and relatively efficient. Ambiance is somewhat lacking and your enjoyment will be reliant upon who you are dining with. There are no beach views here. The blue grenadier and fish of the day were sold out by the time we ordered at 1pm which I thought odd considering the dining room was less than half full. The food(think stir fry, flake and chips, wood fired pizzas) is totally fine and all plates are returned mostly empty. The dessert menu, presented on a blackboard, is quite extensive for a pub covering the usual suspects — cheesecake, crumbles, pavlova and the much favoured sticky date pudding. Nothing amazing but will satisfy a craving for something sweet, prices around $ 12. In short, this is a perfectly serviceable place to have lunch with colleagues and given that it was recommended to me by locals I presume it must be one of Warrnambool’s better dining choices.
