Dear First, I saw you on Instagram and knew we’d be firm friends. You had just the right amount of trend paired with a great coffee roast. I jumped in the car on an Autumn Sunday morning, dog in tow, and zipped out to Wellington Point to meet you. You were busy. Local cyclists have made themselves at home in your cosy nook. Personally, I always take this as a good sign. Cyclists don’t stand for bad coffee so it was a welcome sign. And just as your Instagram showed, you were cute as a button. The coffee cups handmade by a local ceramic artist shot my crush on you through the roof. Thank heavens that first sip of coffee(Dramanti for those playing at home) brought me back to earth. Wellington Point locals are gosh darn spoilt to have you on their doorstep and while I’m residing on the Northside, the feeling of escaping the city and knowing you’re there to greet us with a cosy cup of coffee, a freshly baked muffin, and a copy of some cool magazines to flick through, means we’re not going to be strangers! Plus, you’re welcoming to those four-legged fur balls that make us smile so much. See you soon, First!
