Best takeaway coffee in Perth. Staff are friendly and the girls are moody/hot. Milk is always perfectly stretched and coffee is like velvet. Get a toastie and or a slice from next to the coffee machine.

Have been going here for years. Love their coffee. Recommend texting your order through as it can get busy! At least 15 or 20 min wait for coffee during peak times. Staff are always friendly and on the ball. Dog and kid friendly. It’s outside(under cover) but they do their best to still be inhabitable in hot and cold weather. Their toasties are also delicious.

Missed out on a toasted sandwich because they turn their toast machine off 1 hour before they close.

Quality coffee, good selection of treats or toasted sandwiches if you want something more substantial. Mainly does take-away but there’s plenty of places to sit if you’ve got the time. Nice, open-air but covered space to hang out and talk or get some work done.

This little coffee shop next to Supa IGA was voted last year No 1 for coffee in a suburb of Perth. The staff are lovely but the service can be a bit slow at times. Yes I have indulged in their raw protein chocolate balls with a large coffee. They are now serving(for a couple of months now) Toastface Grillah sandwiches which have very odd sounding items in them. They always seem to have a sold out sign on the board in the evenings — so they must be delicious.

If you want a high quality take away coffee you can’t go past Mooba. Always friendly service and great coffee. With the option to text your order before you go makes this a quick coffee stop. Mooba also stocks some snacks– the coconut rice is well worth a try!

Recently moved into the area and Mooba fast became the go-to for our office coffee runs. Awesome friendly service and(from what I’m told) great coffee… Yes, I’m one of those crazy people that doesn’t drink coffee. I have however sampled their hot and iced chocolates and both were delicious. They have a selection of Rawsome treats available as well as Toastface Grillah sandwiches.

Mooba in Wembley has a slightly different set up than most cafes. There is a small coffee«bar» type thing where you order and then there are red chairs and tables or cushions undercover. Apparently walls are excessive and unwarranted here. Now, I haven’t been here during peak hour, but i can imagine that the traffic on Cambridge St could make this place a little on the noisy and fumes side. What Mooba lacks in archictecture they make up in taste. Their coffee is brilliant. It doesn’t matter what type or style, even soy they do coffee extremely well. The baristas all personality. Telling jokes, chatting away. They are a bit of a performance whilst you wait for your coffee.

I was craving an iced coffee the other day so I decided to take a walk down to Mooba, having heard great things about it and was sure that I was going to get one of the best iced coffees imaginable. Hating milk I ordered a soy iced coffee without ice cream and what I got unfortunately resembled and tasted like coldish coffee with a lot of soy milk; not even chilled, no ice blocks or even any fragments of ice. Lets just say disappointing and not very nice. Seeing everyones good reviews I’m guessing that I either got a newbie doing my iced coffee or something went terribly wrong but I will be going back to try it again just to make sure it wasn’t a one off. The positives are that Mooba has quite a cute setup with a small seating area on either side and cushions on steps for you to comfortably sit and wait for your take away and they also offer lunch snacks like muffins and slices as well as rolls perfect to for a quick bite to eat. Let’s just hope next time I go back my iced coffee will actually be an iced coffee.

It’s always tricky when you visit a new city. The caffeine cravings don’t move away simply because you do, and it becomes increasingly difficult to satisfy these cravings with something worthwhile, i.e. the triple distilled Russian vodka equivalent, as opposed to the paper bag, homebrand methylated spirits equivalent. So, when I woke on my first morning of staying at my Aunts place in Wembley and she suggested we go get a coffee from the Mooba, I was both relieved and nervous. Relieved that my aunt too was keen for the bean, and nervous as to the calibre of the coffee. As it turned out, I had nothing to be nervous about. I often think you can tell what a coffee will taste like from the minute you step through the doors of the café — and Mooba was another case in point. The relaxed seating environment, with red cushions perched on steps, and the simple set-up of espresso machine and bar(crowded with at least a dozen coffee orders) instilled confidence from the get go, as did the laid back charm and efficiency of the baristas. Mooba’s coffee then not only lived up to but surpassed my expectation. My piccolo was smooth, complex, tasty and, quite honestly, made to perfection(despite their being a little hesitant in knowing what it was that I was ordering, it seems the piccolo is yet to storm WA). Chances are you’ll have to wait at least 10 minutes for a coffee from Mooba, due to the café’s overwhelming and understandable popularity. But it’s not a bad place to sit a while, catching the occasional breeze through the open design of the café as you read the mornings paper. But if you don’t have the time, or if you wish to hit your craving on the head from the minute you wake, good news came from my aunt as I lay in my bed the next morning: you can sms them your order so that it’s ready when you arrive. Moo-sic to my ears(love for terrible cow puns). To my Aunt, thank you for living in Wembley. To Wembley, you are lucky. And to Mooba, you’ve turned your back on the paper bag metho and represent the other end of the spectrum in style. I raise my coffee to you.

Mooba Wembley has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere where the likes of stress and work are discouraged. You’ll be entertained by the whacky and friendly baristas while they make you AMAZING coffee(again, ok, so I don’t drink coffee, but my roomie is OBSESSED with this place and everyone I know that goes there says it’s the best coffee they’ve had). And the best thing about Mooba? There’s two of them. The other coffee sanctuary lies in Subiaco. This one is slightly more upmarket, and when late afternoon arrives their small bar licence comes into play. Pre-dinner, post-lunch, after-work, knock-off, call it what you will, there’s nothing quite like enjoying a cold beer or a posh glass of white wine on a hot day underneath Mooba’s water misting air-conditioning.

I live in Stirling which is a nice 20 minute drive from this place yet I find myself going past Wembley at any opportunity in order to get a triple shot soy latte from this joint. Located in a small shopping complex just outside Subiaco, this small café is half inside and half outside. Always buzzing, there’s even a service where you sms your order prior to going there so that it’s ready for you when you arrive! How cool is that? There’s sandwiches, yogurts & fruit, and some cakes also available, but I highly recommend this place for their coffee. In fact, I think I’m going to go as far as to say that this is probably the best coffee I’ve had in Perth, period…
