Oh my god what a place… I am such a fan of their zen hen but have just tried the kofta country one which was almost as good… Just do yourself a favour and call in next time you are in west end and you won’t be disappointed…

My friend showed me these guys and at first I wasn’t very excited, great vibe but I was a bit unsure. That did not last long though. The wraps are to die for, excellent food and great prices too!

I could tell you to simply order the Flaoumi Wrap(haloumi, salad and falafel) and be done with this review. However, that wouldn’t be very useful, funny or cool would it? And alas, I can’t stray too much from the rave reviews other Unilocalers have left. This West End staple is as good as they say. As far as cheap eats, comfort food and healthy eats are concerned, Wrapture is all you could ask for and it is fast becoming a go-to for lunches on the run or lunch meetings. Each wrap that I’ve had is freshly made and so large is my go to Flaoumi wrap that you might be lucky enough to get two meals from it or share with with a friendly face. Mind, it does get busy during the lunch rush. What more evidence could you want for the quality of eats? Pair it with a chai iced chocolate or an organic cola to round it all out and you have yourself once of the most fuss-free delights to eat on this side of the River. Next time I’ve got to break the mould and try something like the Kofta wrap.

WOW! I found this place purely because I was hungry and it was next door to a nice crystal shop I go to from time to time. So as far as wraps go they have a wide choice for meat eaters and vego’s alike and the price is VERY reasonable — $ 10 for a halloumi wrap that were FILLED with veggies and a delicious lite sauce. The service was quick and so polite, the guy on the order desk was getting some grief from a customer in front of me and he was just so diplomatic and really held his cool like a cucumber in an ice bucket. Even the napkins are those nice big, thick ones rather than the 1 ply toilet paper you get at some places. Value for money, relaxed location and great quality — a proper little gem. Go find it! :D Bön Appetit!

These wraps are delicious and reasonably prices! As an American… my food experience has been interesting in Brisbane, but these wraps are legit. We ordered the satay, olympus and a kofta: all three were delicious. The homemade wraps had a balance of flavors balanced with fresh veggies and just enough sauce. I had the kofta, which just the right amount of mint and lemon. As an American, I was delighted to see iced-tea on the menu. I quickly ordered the homemade brew, but it was not the taste of home I expected. The Aussies I was with thought it was delicious.

The wraps at Wrapture are hands down the best I’ve had in Brisbane. Somewhere between a Greek yiros and a kebab but with a variety of delicious filling combinations you won’t find anywhere else. The wraps used are made in house and are thicker than a standard tortilla type wrap and slightly chewy. Don’t fear coeliacs and wheat-intolerant — they do an excellent gluten-free version too! The wraps are all around the $ 9-$ 12 mark and the menu includes several meaty options as well as a huge range of vegetarian. I know from experience that the Olympus(Oregano chicken with Spanish onion, fresh tomato, cos & yoghurt sauce) and the Kofta(Ground lamb cigars with fresh lemon, tahini sauce, minted yoghurt, tabouli and salads) are both absolutely delicious, as are the Apollo and Zeus which are the Olympus and Kofta with grilled haloumi, which quite frankly makes everything better. However I struggle to go past the Faloumi(Warm falafel balls, grilled haloumi, tahini sauce, hommus, minted yoghurt, tabouli and salads) which for $ 12 is a bargain. The falafel is always super crispy and warm and paired with soft grilled salty haloumi, tart yoghurt sauce and crispy fresh lettuce and cucumber s just a party in my mouth. The wraps always arrive quickly and piping hot. Wrapture also do do special breakfast-only wraps, mostly including bacon and have an extensive non-wrap menu including muesli, scrambled eggs, nasi goreng, french toast, kedgeree and a big Farmers Breakfast. For lunch the wraps are also available as rice bowls. For drinks they make excellent coffee(available with additional spice blends) and have a large range of tea including their house specialty Spiced Chai. They also do a house iced tea. Coffee is $ 3.50-$ 4 and tea is $ 4-$ 5. If you’re craving something on the sweeter side, there’s usually a range of slices and biscuits(many of which are gluten-free) in a cabinet by the counter. Wrapture is a very relaxed casual spot so don’t expect anything too fancy. The food is just plain good and reasonably priced. So detour off the main Boundary St strip and check it out, if you haven’t already!

Just one bite and you’ll be wrapped! Wrapture is one of Our faves place to visit in Brisbane. The deep earthy tones of the furniture along with the crystals and buddha statues makes for a welcoming, relaxed laid back indoor and outdoor setting. You get this sense of calmness when you go to eat there. It has an Asian/Mediterranean feel to it and this reflects on the menu. They are extremely popular, especially for lunch. They do breakfast, all day wraps, vegetarian, & meaty wraps, rice and salad bowls, lunch plates and also cater for«gluten free» for $ 1 extra. All wraps are $ 12 and under. I always opt for the Mediterranean wrap which is a herb, lemon chicken, tahini sauce, minted yogurt with tabuli and salad. The food is FRESHFRESHFRESH and very flavoursome. You will NEVER be disappointed! I also absolutely love the honey cakes, and caramel slices so much that i always buy a bag of them to take home! They have beautiful coffee and teas also. Closed only on Mondays. Its a must visit!

Despite checking my mail every day in West End and being a regular customer of Cup Coffee, I hadn’t ventured into sampling Wrapture. I was after a quick takeaway in my local suburb of West End. I wanted something fairly healthy and fast. Mission accomplished. I ordered the Haloumi Wrap and as promised it was jam packed with yummy salad and the service was speedy and friendly. I’ll be back.

Wraps seem to be quite the popular thing these days, so I thought I’d give it a try. This café has an interesting ambience, reminding me a little of the Three Monkeys Café along with something a hippie café in Berkeley would try to pull off. It was neither my taste, nor something I dislike, but it was definitely something of its own, and no less relaxing. I had the Bacon Caesar Wrap(9), which I was quite happy with, as it was both toasty and tasty, and not too heavy for brunch! The ingredients tasted fresh and was refreshing on a hot day. I wanted to try their Mango Lassi(4), but decided to save that for another time. All I can recommend are their wraps, as I know my friend enjoyed hers too, and we both devoured them quite speedily. They also serve eggs benny, from what I remember, as well other breakfast foods. I’m trying to cook more often, so I don’t know if I’d return any time soon, but this place is definitely not a bad find!

Well, how can something this good be just called a ‘wrap’? I hear a lot of effort goes into to keeping the source of the breads they use for wraps a secret. Well they might, for they are part of the treat. The word is also that the owner can go a little ‘soup nazi’ on you if you want to tell him what you want in your wrap. He doesn’t want a bad rap as a result of ‘your’ wrap! With so many delicious combos to choose from why take the risk? Hey, I say, ‘if you want to make your own wrap, go start your own business!’ Someone else is doing the cooking. Just kick back and enjoy!

Like my fellow Unilocalers, I stalked these guys most Saturday mornings at the West End Markets. I’m still a bit dirty at them for pulling up stumps without warning(couldn’t you have said something? do you KNOW how impossible haloumi is to replace for expectant taste buds at 9am on a Saturday??) however all is forgiven as they’ve opened a proper shop. This means I can get access to their wraps whenever I’m in West End, plus I can get my Blackstar there which keeps me full and buzzing. Look, it’s all delicious, I haven’t hit one I don’t like yet. I tend to stick to the vego ones because I was vego for most of my life and old habits are hard to break(also, it takes a proper vego to do good things with tofu so I always like to support that wrap) but I’m going to break into carnivore wraps soon I promise.

Wraps are a decidedly simple food. A variation on the sandwich if you will. I feel that the most likely things to succeed are borne of simple ideas. Wrapture, on Russell Street in West End is an example of such success. I, like almost everyone else I know, was distraught when Wrapture no longer came to the West End markets. It was THE breakfast choice among marketeers– the haloumi wrap($ 8) being the favourite. Thank the gods that they decided to get a lease and set up shop in the crutch of West End. They took over the lease of The Shire, which was a well known hippy dive. The cool, calm, chai steeped vibes are still buzzing up through the floor boards. It is an earthy place to sit down and eat some simple, but expertly and beautifully made food. Most meaty wraps will set you back around $ 9, the vego options are usually $ 1 cheaper. You can have a coffee made from local Blackstar beans too if you like. The environment really does just call ‘chai’ to you though– perhaps in memory of the old tenants(chai FIENDS), or perhaps just because they really do put on a fantastic brew here. The staff look as organic and as fresh as the food they serve up. Going to wrapture really is something of a wholesome, nurturing experience on all levels. You might even find yourself savouring your food and taking time to enjoy it rather than just cramming it in your face on the way from A to B.

These guys started with a stall at the local West End markets. Their signature gourmet wraps, with intriguing titles like ‘Zen Tofu’ and ‘Faloumi’(felafel & haloumi), proved so popular that they set up permanent digs in near(ish)by Russell St. They also have plenty of options for carnivores, including a range of interesting chicken options. The food is lovingly crafted using organic ingredients where possible. The wraps are mostly around $ 8. Now they’ve branched out to offer a full range of café offerings, including top-shelf Blackstar coffee, a range of teas, chai, baguettes, croissants and other daily specials which show off their culinary skills not just as ‘wrap masters’ but great all round chefs too. Apart from serving up delicious food the outdoor courtyard is a wonderfully tranquil place to sit and contemplate the goodness of the sustenance you are absorbing. Statues of the Buddha and a water feature complete the tableaux.
