Horror, fantasy, romance, science fiction, drama and comedy are displayed here in the large DVD selection. Many old DVDs are for sale and are at very reasonable prices. Today I was taken back to see some old movies without covers for just $ 1. There would have been possibly over 100 on sale. The sales assistant was quick to help me with a search today. There was no problem in finding my unusual request.

It is quite rare that you still see a video rental store open. With modern technology mostly everyone downloads their own movies and TV shows. So this place is one of those gems! If you’re not sure on what you want to watch just pop in the store and browse the selection and i’m quite positive you will end up at least a minimum of 3 dvds! There could be movies you have never heard of or maybe a few old classics that you want to revisit! They also have a big selection of candy bars from the US and also a fridge filled with Ben & Jerry’s Ice cream! Ah did someone say… YUM! Great selection for Kids to Adults.

I’ve been a member of Civic Video for 10 years now. They have a good selection of new release movies on Bluray, DVD and Bluray 3D. There is a Monday Happy Hour and Cheap Tuesdays for great deals of $ 2 each rental. There are other specials each day of the week and I often get free hires for answering surveys or just by being a loyal customer. Overdue fees are halved when you pay them when you return your rental. They have a loyalty card which earns you points for every dollar spent. They also have a good selection of snacks, popcorn and American lollies and drinks to keep your tummies happy during your movie marathons. The ex-rentals for sale can be a good bargain too of you find movies among the pile that you like. Console games are available to rent too, which is good if you want to try out a game before you buy it. Sometimes they give away their old movie posters and I’ve managed to score some good ones which I’ve yet to hang up on our wall.
