This used to be what was known as Wooldridges, the place where school textbooks are bought. Gone are the multitude of shelves of books in a cramped overheated shed arranged in a maze for you and what feels like half the school population of Perth. Now, there’s a spacious area for people to line up with school book lists to a counter with people to confirm your orders and to take your payment. Then you sit and watch whatever is on television while your order is sent to the back where packers do the running around, searching, and packing. Then someone calls out your number and you collect your order and you’re on your way. However my only advice to visit this place is to do so well before the last week of the school holidays because it will be hectic, stressful and a world of zero fun. The other plus is that these guys have a delivery service which is a bonus if you don’t live in Perth or are away for holidays.
