Take away curry with rice for $ 8.50? Yes, please!
If you’re looking for cheap, take away food in an area with few cafes, definitely give Café Darjeeling a try. The food isn’t anything special, but it stays down and is filling. I don’t recommend this place if you’re looking for amazing Indian food or looking to impress someone on a lunch date. However, if you’re in a rush and want something cheap to take back with you to work, it’s perfect!
Bonus: It’s right next to Blackhearts and Sparrows Wine Purveyors in Windsor. You can grab a bottle of wine on your lunch break to take home for dinner.
