Is it just me or is this patch of Winthrop a collection of hidden gems? I would never have thought that a Korean butcher to be located here but yet it is. It is an independent venture and has a range of meats prepared for Korean dishes. Thinly sliced beef and pork aplenty.(Let’s be honest, these cuts of meat would also do well in Japanese dishes.) In addition to this are also a range of meats that cross the borders into SE Asian cuisines. I’ve never seen such a better range of ox tail in the deep freeze. This butcher also has a wagyu beef on offer from different parts of the cow something that is rarely seen in butchers around town. There is also a small range of Korean sauces on offer for preparation of meat dishes. And yes, kimchi is definitely available here too.
