Il Caffe

Il Café is a gem amongst the rough of the Woodend café scene. It’s a tiny, corner store offering a whole lotta good food, cakes and coffee. Located just on the edges of town most people pass by on their way into town. Well my friends you are missing out if you don’t stop by here.
One of the highlights here is a small coffee window that opens directly to the barista. So you can easily order a coffee on your way to the train station in the morning, or when out for a weekend walk with the dog. This is a great addition to the café, which as limited and narrow space inside. Genius idea to help people who only want to grab a quick coffee and not battle the pram patrol inside.
Cake wise these guys are serving up some very pretty French Lettuce creations. There are few other cafes that I would actually stop for in this town. Il Café is currently #1!
