Definitely the best coffee on Queen Street. Really efficient baristas– our regular weekend coffee. We have had some of the pasta dishes before and they are pretty tasty also– highly recommended !

One of the best places to visit in Woollahra is the Pasta Pantry over at Queen St. It’s an Italian food shop that serves dine in and takeaway food at really reasonable prices. They have pasta(of course), bread, desserts, coffee, muffins, and so much more. Although every dish they serve is excellent, for a first-timer, it’s recommended that you try their coffee(one of the best in the whole of Sydney) and their lasagne. Even if you weren’t Garfield, you’d gobble these up in no time. And while you enjoy their food and coffee, you will also enjoy their service and staff. They are friendly and hospitable AND if you get to be a regular, they’ll remember your name, your face, and your order! It’s a one-of-a-kind place that serves fantastic food and coffee. Highly recommended!

Walking down Queen Street during lunchtime you see a variety of folks going in different places to grab their takeaway. Now we usually frequent Kuk thai or Chargrill Charlie’s(you know the one Opera went to) for our quick meal, but after not finding our favorite pasta to pair with the chicken at Charlie’s we went to Pasta Pantry. They have a good variety of pastas, ready made Italian sides, salads and dips. We order a couple of different cold pastas(Chicken Tortellini, Spinach Ravioli, Sausage Penne and Basil and Pesto Cappellini) packaged in two medium takeaway containers and we are good to go. The pasta is tasty and made fresh. There is also the smell of baked goods when you’re in the shop and they are also one of the few places in the area that carry Pepsi Max(our soft drink of choice). It’s a good place to grab a quick meal when we’re in the mood for some pasta.
