I’ve seen this exhibit in Chicago, and I’ve seen it here. It is great everytime as who doesn’t love some Dr. Suess. It brings a nice feeling in your heart to relive parts of your childhood. Then you fall in love with a Lorax print… holy sh! t thats expensive. I just want print and not have to sell a kidney, is that too much to ask? /attempt to rhyme like Dr Seuss regarding the expense of this place/ How much do you want that print? It will cost you quite a mint. Do you want to hang it on your wall? Well you have to steal it from this hall.

Wonderful exhibition with beautiful prints but prohibitively priced in my opinion I’d love to have a huge Lorax poster but may have to draw my own. I’m terrible at drawing as well so it’ll probably look like this: — :( Lovely for a browse tho.

Who cannot forget Dr Seuss as you were growing up. He was one of the lucky charms that got you through childhood. Thumbs up, this establishment would definitely be voted one of the best children’s art galleries in Sydney. It is fun to view. The only letdown for me is that when I want to go, the establishment is closed. Oh well, never mind. Just makes me appreciate this art even more. The art available for sale is suitable for any domain and whether you are a child or an adult, it doesn’t matter. This art is chic, stylish and divine. Dr Seuss is a smart and interesting character; what is there to not like. The books were entertaining, and the art is worth a trip to the east side of Sydney for greater appreciation. Love it, love it, love it.

Relive your childhood with your pals the Cat in the Hat, the Sneetches, Horton, the Lorax and Yertle the Turtle. If you’re a fan of Dr Suess(who isn’t?!), head to the Trevor Victor Harvey Gallery, which has become a dedicated Dr Seuss art space. You’ll find all those beautiful characters in their colourful glory — though now they’ve made it off the page and into some well-presented frames. There’s even a special ‘unorthodox taxidermy sculpture’ section, complete with the Semi-Normal Green-Lidded Farn. Even if you can’t afford to buy, do your soul some good and pop in for a chuckle.

«From there to here, from here to there, funny things are everywhere!» We’ve all had a bit of Dr. Seuss to enjoy during our childhood with lovable characters like The Cat in the Hat and the Grinch. And to our delightful surprise, the Trevor Victor Harvey Gallery has become the Australasian dealer for the Art of Dr. Seuss. And this quote from Dr. Seus encapsulates exactly what you’ll find when you visit the exhibition in Woollahra. With richly coloured illustrations from the books that we so loved to read to sculptures and«unorthodox taxidermy» from the Secret Art of Dr. Seuss, this exhibition will take you back to your childhood days and release your inner child once more. A fitting tribute to a man who has touched millions of lives worldwide and who will continue to do so in the many years to come. So, «If you never did you should. These things are fun and fun is good.»

There is a Dr Seuss gallery right at the top of Oxford Street in Paddington that is well worth a browse if for nothing else but a trip down memory lane. This place is scattered with Dr Seuss paintings through out and even though I was well versed in his stuff as a kid, there is plenty here that I haven’t seen at all and others I haven’t seen in years. Surely every one knows who Dr Seuss is right or am I showing my age? Green eggs and ham?(That’s in here too by the way). If you’re after a bit of nostalgia and a quiet chuckle from back to the days as a kid head in and have a look. The only thing not childish about the gallery is the prices. Let’s just say it’s a lot lot. lot more than his books. Actually you could probably buy his whole collection of books ten times over for the price of one of these paintings but if you’re a fan, what’s a bit of cash!

Who doesn’t love Dr Seuss? Those wonderful seemingly nonsensical rhymes and stories when re-read today are a great reminder of what a beautiful man he was, and this gallery has been authorised by the Seuss estate to as Australasian agent for some of his delightful artworks. Walk into this gallery and experience the child-like wonderment of the artworks they have on display, as well as learning fun Seuss facts such as, he used to occasionally work under the alias of «Stroogo Von M.» so that he could get an honest opinion of new artworks when his friends came to visit.

«It has often been said there’s so much to be read, you never can cram all those words in your head. So the writer who breeds more words than he needs is making a chore for the reader who reads. That’s why my belief is the briefer the brief is, the greater the sigh of the reader’s relief is. And that’s why your books have such power and strength. You publish with shorth! (Shorth is better than length.)» — Dr. Seuss If you are a fan(like us), nostalgia is how you feel walking into the Art Of Dr. Suess. Thoughts of The Cat In The Hat, Horton Hears a Who, Yertle The Turtle, Green Eggs and Ham, Oh The Places You Will Go and all of Dr. Suess’ wonderful books and art will fill your head. The gallery on Oxford Street is well stocked with beautiful prints, sculptures, serigraphs and lithographs. Some of our favourite Dr. Seuss characters captured on limited edition artwork as well as some of his own artwork(one of our favourites was a early drawing he did entitled: Happy Grasshopper on a Mushroom). The friendly young man who staffed the shop was neatly dressed in a white collared shirt and red bow tie with suspenders. He greeted everyone with a smile and answered all of our questions. He was quite knowledgeable about all things Dr. Seuss. The gallery is part of the Trevor Victor Harvey Gallery collection and the store should not be missed for all fans of Dr. Seuss, both young, old and everything in between.

Come on, how could you not like this store, it’s Dr Seuss? Have you so soul? No love for colour, no love for rhyme? Do you not like green eggs and ham??? I feel like the title says it all — its Dr Seuss — a wonderful place to visit, a gallery that will remind you about the genius that was the good doctor. The gallery features a wonderful collection of images, prints and sculptures. Each image has so much life you can almost imagine the characters jumping out from the canvas so that they can spend some time getting to know you. What a wonderful, positive, vibrant space for all.
