For the local GP, I can’t complain. Conveniently located in the bumping district of Yangebup sandwiched between both an IGA and a pharmacy. This bodes quite well should a prescription arise and/or you if you need to pick-up milk before heading home. The true representation of an office is the doctors. There are a few here and I really like the doc I’m seeing(Dr. Pande) so I continue to request only her. She is very approachable and ‘real’(e.g. not pretentious). I only see women and they seem to be quite busy. As a newbie in this medical system, I appreciate Dr. Pande’s heads-up what’s what. I am so unaware of the referral system and immunizations(like being asked if my Rubella is current?!). You can get lab work done right at the office but the wait times can be quite hellacious, even at 8:30 a.m. The phlebotomist is equally friendly but has her hands full with the impatiently-waiting patients. This place isn’t a bulk bill, so you pay the whole thing upfront but can be reimbursed through the system(70−80%) or at least that’s what I’m told. Labwork is free though(!) and that is one more thing to smile about!
