The ice cream is great and the staff is very friendly. The lines move quickly and prices are very affordable. Get the speculoos!

The Belgian waffles with cream and strawberries are heavenly good. If only Mr. Crème de la crème was a little bit more friendly, then it would be worth five stars.

I started this review in March, but never got around to posting it.
Anyway, I had the waffle with whipped crème and chocolate sauce. It was actually my second waffle of the day, and it had better consistency than the one I had in the square near the church… And I definitely don’t remember the name of that place.
Anyway, to the point, the waffle was good, fresh, and consistent as I came back one other time a few weeks later and was not disappointed. Great place to experience your first legitimate Belgian waffle if you’ve never had one.

The short of it:

The long of it:
I had just tasted fresh herring, it’s suppose to be a delicacy here in Belgium that everyone loves. Unfortunately that was not the case for me and I almost threw up having the slimy fishy-​ness in my mouth. Had to find something quick to get that taste out of my mouth and decided to get a quick ice cream cone. I got 2 scoops for 3 euro (around $ 3.75). I got hazelnut and chocolate, both were good and helped cover that fish taste in my mouth. My fav part was the waffle cone which cones standard and dipped in chocolate. Definitely better than American waffle cones!
