I had a huge, fresh arugula, a delicious Margherita pizza, and a generous glass of wine for 22 Euros. It does take awhile but it is worth it.

I hope for Dal Dottore this review is not representative. Very long waiting time, very poor service. We were seated in a gruffy-​looking room across the restaurant, and were served a sad antipasto not worthy an Italian restaurant that respects itself. The main course (veal escalope) was just average, and my pasta was swimming in some brownish watery substance. At least the check came quickly (and to be fair: not expensive) so we could get out and forget this experience.

He doesn’t really understand what I say, it’s tiny and you really gotta want to wait for your food but it is worth it mmmmmmmmmmmmm. Everything on the menu. you will savor! It’s just as authentic as it comes. if you’re visiting Antwerp and in need of some REAL Italian food. go to Dal Dottore! you will not be dissapointed!
