This hotel could use some updating, coffee makers in the rooms and a good carpet shampoo. But there was a staff member that made it worth while. When I checked in the front desk was frazzled and not as friendly as they would have been. It was hailing outside and very windy, I was truly a sight to behold. There was a front desk gentlemen working in the evening however that was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that everything was good and I was comfortable. He makes good expresso. :)

I originally thought about giving this place 3 stars but in light of my experiences there I can’t say that it was really«A-OK» so I must dumb my review down to 2 stars. I didn’t know where I was booking, to be honest, and I wasn’t entirely sure where the location was or how the hotel would be. We arrived Christmas eve only to find the receptionist playing card games and drinking with his buddies in the lobby. Oh my. This hotel is old, it’s located sort of near the fancy shopping districts but it’s still old. The rooms are updated décor to moldy motel 6 feeling rooms where the carpets smell musty and the whole room just looks drab. There isn’t much table or chair space and one look at the chairs. you wouldn’t want to sit in them anyway. There was a lot of lighting in this place but for some reason they were all in the wrong places, so despite«ample» lighting, the place felt dark and dingy. The restroom was the worst part of the story. You know when there isn’t enough space between the end of the toilet and the wall? I’m just going to leave you at that. Overall, I thought it wasn’t great value for this place especially because it normally cost something like 210 euros a night! We stayed down the street from the Condor Hotel and it made me wish I went there instead. To be avoided!
