Sultans of Kebap

Not a great update to be writing. Unfortunate also as I don’t anticipate I will be back.
Wife and I were on holiday and came in after our bar night on a Sunday night around 1:30 AM. In the past I have always gotten my food to-​go in a Styrofoam container and there has been never been an issue. Today there was more than an issue…
I asked for our food (frites with gyro meat & samourai sauce) to go in the Styrofoam container instead of a paper cone and the cashier refused to do so. He said the container costs € 9 instead of the € 3.5 food price. I advised I had it in this way in the past and he assured me that he’s worked there for 3 years.
I tried to reason and understand why the container was more however he said because it’s larger. I advised he could still give the smaller amount of food and he said it wasn’t possible. Then when asking for 2 forks or even for some extra sauce he tried to say we were being cheap and asking for too much.
Food here is good but this service was just awful. To the management: find the guy working register late night on Sunday, May 31^st and either retrain him or remove him from the position. What a horrible way to interact with the customer.

just next to the old stock exchange building, its open until the after everything else closes. A great spot to get a healthier wrap vs. the Mcdonalds across the street. The service was fast and friendly, and i really enjoyed the chicken wrap after an evening of sampling many, maybe too many ;) Belgium beers.

Good place to get a quick bite… but that’s it. I was not too big on meat quality. The sauces used in the sandwich are alright, there are better places in the area for good shawarma.

An interesting place with decent food. Good for a quick bite at the end of a night out around Grand Place. I wouldn’t call it great or authentic but it is reasonably priced, healthier than some options (if you include the salad items) and open late.

This storefront Kebap place was my favorite in my time in Brussels. The folks running the place are friendly, give good size portions for the money and the place is clean. If you are in the mood for a kebap… this is the place.
