My go to place for business lunches. Professional staff, a great atmosphere and fresh menu.

Perfect location in the heart of leuven. Patio has great views of town hall and crowded streets full of people. Atmosphere is modern and food menu is unique for a central bar/​restaurant. Pork stoovlees is good but a touch bland. Appreciate the twists on the classics. Will come back next time I am in Leuven.

Delicious! If this place was in my hometown, I’d be a regular. A hot day in Leuven and we ducked in for lunch and so glad we did. The server was pleasant and the interior was interesting and fun. The club sandwich was amazing. Yes, that’s right, club sandwich. Usually that type of thing can be boring, but Bar Louis adds some delicious extras which I love. The egg in there along with the other fresh ingredients was perfect. The fries were delicious and even though I was so hungry, it was a large portion and stuffed us each!
I will be trying to recreate that sandwich back home. Yum!

This is a really neat spot — atmosphere is modern chic but welcoming and our experience was good overall. They have a good selection of drinks and the gin and tonic list is as impressive as the food menu itself. Coworker and I both had the Louis burger which was the best burger I’ve had outside of the States and says a lot. The presentation of this food was excellent and it tasted just as good.
Our server was very friendly and I enjoyed the opportunity to leave feedback then and there via the tablet which is provided with the check.
Be advised that the burgers were a bit expensive here but overall I was very satisfied with the experience. Bar Louis is a fun spot delivering a genuinely good experience and I will definitely be back!

Coolest place in Leuven!
Like the ambiance and the style, would be a cool bar/​lounge in any other city in the world!
Only negative: staff is too snotty for their own good! ;)
