Maybe I missed the Laotian page, but the menu didn’t seem to have a really Laotian bend to it with sushi being the largest section of the menu along with risotto and yakisoba(among others). Things may have gotten lost in translation, but I didn’t see such Lao staples such as nam khao, khao soy, or even sticky rice? We weren’t looking for a big meal so just got a couple of dishes and some drinks. Food was just OK. Salmon carpaccio was drowning in ponzu( ) compared to the menu picture and the calamari ranged from good to tough depending on the variable cuts( ) Overall the place seemed overpriced for what you got, especially the Chandon 187(¼ bottle of bubbly) which was 45 Reals for the portion(double what we got it for at other restaurants(it did come in a cute mini-champagne bucket)). Service was so-so. Definitely needed to work for attention if you needed anything. You do have dental floss in the bathrooms. ..( ) Set your expectations accordingly.
