After being in Brazil for nearly two weeks and finding no vegetables, we were beyond excited to have an edible salad!!! I am sure the staff thought we were crazy, especially since the guy chuckled and pointed when I helped myself to seconds. They also provided salad dressings, which we hadn’t seen since our arrival! This is a pay-by-weight kind of place. You grab a plate from the cupboard, get what you want, and someone weighs the food. You should also know the grilled meats are behind the window. Even though the lights are off, stand next to the window, someone will turn on the lights, and show you all the meats on the grill. I chose what looked like steaks on a skewer. The staff will thinly slice the meat for you; it was delicious. I should note the weight of the plate is not counted(in case you were wondering). There’s actually a discounted weight number on the scale. If you get food to-go(watched someone else), they’ll put the to-go container on a plate anyway. I would’ve given four stars, but some of the dishes I chose weren’t as good as I thought they would be. I cannot put names to the dishes, unfortunately, but the shredded meat sticks out the most. It was really dry. The pasta I chose was really doughy as well, and I wasn’t impressed. But if you stick with just the skewered meat and salad, you can’t go wrong. A coconut water(cup) cost about R$ 4,50, and my last plate of only meat and salad only cost R$ 4,15. There’s also free wifi(show the staff your phone, and they’ll input the password) and air conditioning. Not bad!
