Monday nights, don’t miss seeing Zé Paulo Becker. Phenomenal. Sure, the cover is a little pricey for the average backpacker, but if you are into music, you will love this spot. Worth every centavo. Your ears and heart will thank you. I think every night of the week is good here. Their facebook page has their upcoming events.
It’s a tiny spot with few really good seats so it’s worth calling ahead to reserve a table (though not required).

BEST LIVE MUSIC. Rio is amazing, is beautiful and all that. But Rio is also the birthplace of Choro. If you don’t know it go to YouTube and come to Semente to listen to greatest musicians. If you do know it, I hope you are already on your way. Besides that, honest drinks and typical appetizers. But the music, oh the music…
