Good value for money. Locals eat here. Friendly staff. Ham is even better than chicken.

Tasty galeto (toasted chicken) and boiled potatoes with parsley and olive oil. Brazilian comfort food in an open air lunch counter setting. Close to the beach in Copacabana, the food is simple but that’s a good thing. You can’t go wrong with the Galeto for 15 Real. Sometimes you need a simple, tasty snack.

Crispy chicken in a convenient location when leaving the copacabana beach. The chicken is so affordable the rest of the menu seems pricey in comparison.

Really crispy and tasty Gelato. I’ve had better and definitely better service but the bar is simple and easy to find if you are hungry.
My mother ate here 25 years ago. She recommend it for the crispy chicken. She was right on the money.
Tastes great in a pinch.
We ordered the $ 15 reis Gelato to go as we had a baby and they don’t quite fit high chairs in the bar seats and table setting. The atmosphere was amicable with a tv showing World Cup games.
We thought the price was steep as compared to other shops and markets in Leme. I guess we paid the tourist mark up of 200% as normally the gelato from the market on Rua Gustavo Sampaio is $ 7.25 reis.
5 stars for food Taste and perfect BBQ smokiness, minus one star for high costs, and minus last star for limited seating and no baby chairs.
Overall good spot for food if you can manage.
