Um lugar onde você espera cerca de 40 minutos por um café e uma fatia de bolo. Tirando o serviço demorado, o DRI tem comidinhas gostosas e pratos bem servidos, por preços médios. Como esta unidade fica dentro do Shopping da Gávea, ao lado do cinema, espere um ambiente barulhento. As estrelinhas ficam por conta da comida que nunca me decepcionou, com especial atenção para as sobremesas, recomendo o brigadeiro de colher e o bolo de cenoura com calda de chocolate.

This place never fails to disappoint. Please note that gavea shopping mall is closed on Sundays until noon and then the restaurants open and stores don’t open up until 2pm.
This place is on the third floor right before the escalators to the gym and movie theater. But has consistently served good food. They serve an executive menu for R$ 42 which includes an appetizer, main and dessert. We tried two appetizers: rice balls and crocodile tears in pão de queijo which were both quite delicious. They were perfect small appetizers to whet the appetite. Those pão de queijo sandwiches need to be served everywhere. What a great invention! For the main courses we tried the carbonara pasta which had a little more overlooked eggs than I expected (less creamy) but still flavorful. The chicken satay came with a great curry sauce and peanut rice. The Parma sandwich (not on the executive meal) was a good size but the cured ham is quite salty so get a refreshing drink like the limonada suíça gasosa (lemonade soda). Dessert was a sweet dulce tart (honey jam) or a mango tart, both tasty. We finished it off with a submarino which is a hot milk drink with a chunk of chocolate that melts when you stir it to make a rich hot chocolate.

Having walked by this place several times on our way to the cinema inside Shopping da Gávea, we finally decided to give it a shot. Right off the bat I was impressed with the amount and variety of selections for a lunch menu. In addition to the regular menu, they offered an Executive Menu where you could pay one of three prices, opting for just the main dish, a main dish and an appetizer or desert, or a main dish with an appetizer and desert. I ended up settling for the Hamburguer Artesanal and a Peripécia Tripel. They offer a mango lassi too, but I’m saving that for another day.
The burger, fries, and sauces were all really good. The only down side was that the burger was well done, a first for me here in Rio. Had it been slightly more juicy though, it would have been perfect. The beer was a nice addition too, and was reasonably priced for a 600ml craft beer selection.
Overall I enjoyed lunch here and plan to come back for an evening meal as well.

Estive no DRI durante a Restaurant Week. Esperava encontrar um local um pouco mais sofisticado, mas ainda assim o ambiente permite que você se desligue ligeiramente do fato de estar em um shopping. Pedi logo de cara um suco de manga com gengibre, e fiquei decepcionada. Primeiro, o suco veio sem gelo; segundo, era tanto gengibre que tive dificuldade para terminar o copo.
Como entrada, eu e minhas amigas optamos pelo folhado de salmão. Mais uma vez me arrependi. A massa do folhado estava super dura, difícil até de cortar com a faca, e a combinação com o salmão simplesmente não vingou. Bem ruim. De prato principal, fomos com o risoto de brie e cogumelo acompanhado de filé mignon ao molho de vinho, se não me engano.
O risoto estava bem gostoso, apesar de ser enjoativo, mas o filé…outra decepção. O corte era pequeno e fino, a carne sequer estava quente ao ser servida. O pior de tudo: não estava nada macia. Para um restaurante desse porte, eu esperava muito mais. Finalizamos a refeição com um merengue de suspiros e morango, que tinha mais geleia do que outra coisa.
Fomos as últimas a sair do restaurante, e a garçonete veio perguntando se queríamos café antes mesmo de terminarmos de comer a sobremesa, tamanha a pressa que eles tinham de fechar. Não sei se voltaria, mas também não chega a ser ruim. Acho que deve haver outros pratos interessantes, a julgar pelo risoto.

A comida é boa e sai bem rápido, um ótimo lugar para ir comer depois do cinema mas deixa a desejar no atendimento.

Mais uma boa opção para almoçar no Shopping da Gávea. Pelo visto, todas elas no 3º andar. O atendimento é muito atencioso e o cardápio cheio de boas opções para todos os gostos.
A comida é muito bem preparada e há muitas opções para se beber também. Cerveja importadas e vinhos. Não é nada barato, mas vale cada centavo.

This restaurant is located in Gavea Shopping Center, but forget about the fact that it’s an indoor restaurant ang give it a try. I have tried pretty much everything they have on their menu and never had a single disappointment.
Their food is simply amazing! I won’t even suggest anything on the menu, cause with you like eating tasty stuff, that’s your place.
The restaurant is not big and can be get quite busy on weekends. Decoration is quite nice and you can see their kitchen while you wait for your meal.
The waiters can get a bit confused sometimes but it worth it.
This place is definitely a «must go» in Rio!

Une bonne option pour la pause shopping. Des salades, des jus, des plats, et autres. Escondidinho de carne seca e abobora très bon. Bön service. Un peu léger sur la quantité.
