Stambul

Casa tradicional de comida árabe em geral.
É bem pequeno, portanto as mesas costumam lotar com facilidade. Há um balcão voltado para a rua e coloca apoios na calçada, que também costuma encher.
Seu arroz é delicioso.

Os salgados são bons! Kibes, esfihas e etc. Almocei uma vez no Stambul e achei a comida um pouco pesada, apesar de estar com boa apresentação e bem temperada. Talvez não seja minha preferência, mas o atendimento é ok e ambiente também.

Stambul was a drunken night find for me and my friends, and we accidentally walked in here only because this restaurant had a very nice vibe to it! But at the end of our meal, we were just so glad for all the Caipirinha’s in our system that led us to this delicious find!
The first time we went here, since we were struggling with language, we literally were looking at what the rest of tables were ordering and were literally pointing in directions where the food was looking absolutely delicious. Almost every one was ordering the Filé Mignon which was absolutely delicious, very well seasoned and perfect temperature!
We also enjoyed and completely fell in love with their Arroz com Frango and their Lamb Rice (Arroz com Carneiro) which again had such amazing taste to it! We also noticed a lot of people ordering their Lamb Seekh Kabab’s. can’t remember the Portuguese name for that dish but again an absolutely delicious find!
For drinks, we stuck with Caipirinha which was very well made and had a decent kick to it. We could manage ordering all of our food by either pointing at other peoples dishes OR with the help of one of the staff members, who could speak English. Service wise we had absolutely no problems!

O Stambul é muito perto da minha casa e costuma me salvar nas madrugadas. Quando chego em casa morrendo de fome passo lá antes para pegar um salgado. Não é nem de longe meu árabe preferido, mas o kibe e a esfiha aberta de queijo ou espinafre, quando estão quentinhos, são gostosinhos. Sempre pergunte ao garçom o que saiu por último. O dono está sempre por lá, acho isso bom sinal. O chopp é ok. Não posso avaliar as refeições pois só comi uma vez e não lembro direito. Sei que são bem grandes. Mas a verdade é que ele perdeu essas 2 estrelinhas em parte porque acho o homus tahine deles bem fraco (eles não tiram a casca do grão de bico, tornando-​o amargo) e a esfiha fechada é muito massuda.
