Another Japanese restaurant that goes beyond sushi in São Paulo and this is really a hidden gem. From the outside it looks like a residential building and a small wooden sign shows the name of the restaurant. The idea is to keep the quality of food serving only small group of customers and I would say that 99% of them are Japanese expats. Once you enter the door you will be transported somewhere in Japan. Daily menu changes according to the fresh vegetables and fish of the season and they have options of full course menu in different price ranges. Prices are a little high, but it’s worth every bill you leave. And the rice here is supposed to be one of the best in town. Reservations in advance are mandatory and the lady on the phone speaks very poor Portuguese.
