The reputation as having the best view in São Paulo it’s well deserved. In addition, the service is very friendly and efficient, and the food is great.

Nice atmosphere. It took hours to get here in São Paulo traffic. Food was good. We had a large group that they sat around 8:30pm on a week night without issue. Nice wine selection.

Third of fourth time I have been to this place. The atmosphere is so good you don’t expect the food to measure up. But it does, and then some! The ceviche with popcorn was good — also had the entrepôt which was perfectly cooked, not trivial as it was an exceptionally thick cut for entrecôte…

The place if gorgeous but the food is not very good and the prices are really high. Overall not worth it! The space really is incredible with a forest like wall and a gorgeous reflection pool. The ambience is also very nice, people go well dressed, this is definitely a hip joint. Food however was a massive disappointment. I had the ceviche to start and the fish was not very fresh– overall one of the worst ceviches I have had in SP :(For a main dish I got their fish Belle Epoque which was a linguado with foie gras over potato cakes. The fish again was not fresh. The foie gras was good but not the highest quality, too many nerves, and the potato was nothing special. My husband had the alcatra bombom– this dish was better, the meat was good as were the raviolis it came with(shitake and nuts). For dessert I ordered a soufflé which was probably the worst soufflé I have ever had. It was like a chocolote soup made with low quality chocolate(think industrialized hershey’s chocolate). My husband had the sorbet trio and that was not much better, the mango sorbet we couldn’t even tell what they fruit was meant to be, it was just a sweet artificial flavor. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place. Maybe go there for a drink so you can enjoy the ambiance :)

Very, very good food. Feels like you’re eating in a forest. Went here a couple of times while in town, and honestly can’t remember any specific dishes, but I remember pretty much everything was good.

Since we were in Sao Paulo on my wife’s birthday I scouted for an unusually attractve place and Kaa is magnificent inside. The food and service were also tops… pato for Deb and sea bass for me, with Uruguayan white wine and cajus plus sorbet for dessert. Arrived at 8 to nearly empty space and left at 10 when it was packed. With the dollar exchange at 42 cents a real it was worth the price of 330 reais including service. Kaa has a standard menu that could even be called Modern American, or Modern Brazilian it is all excellemt.

Great Italian restaurant. The décor inside is awesome. There is a green wall covered in plants. The ceiling of the restaurant is like a moon/sun roof. I sat under the open space. The waitstaff did their best at communicating with us in English. We had the tuna with mint and mozzarella. It came with a fresh salad. For main courses, we got the burratta and shrimp filled ravioli and the mushroom risotto with filet. Delicious. They also give you a basket of bread with a few spreads when you first sit down but its not complimentary(which you don’t find out until you get the bill).

Behind a dark non-descript door lies Kaa, with its beautiful plant wall, and pretty good food as well. And order the bread when you sit down — also, lunch time menu is more affordable, great option ‘para almoçar’ !

Kaa is a great place to bring a date. The inside is beautiful and the waiters are very nice and attentive. Do not skip the bread in the beginning — it’s fantastic! We got pasta and it was amazing. Make sure you make a reservation if you want to go there in the weekend

Came here with my girlfriend because we couldn’t get a reservation at DOM or Mani. Kaa seemed like an obvious 3rd choice. We ended up taking a taxi here and when he pulled up, I thought he had the wrong place because it looked like he had dropped us off at a nightclub. Turns out, the night club exterior was just a front for a great restaurant interior. You will need to call to get a reservation on the weekends or Friday night which is what we did. The waiters speak english but the maitre d’ personally came over to us and began talking to us in english. Since my girlfriend’s english isn’t that good, I told her to speak to us in Portuguese so that everyone could understand. I asked her which dish she personally recommended and she told me the Grelhados do Mar com Couscous Marroquino(Grilled seafood with couscous). So of course I ordered this while my girlfriend ordered the Fraldinha plate. We got a bottle of wine(they give you an ipad with all the wines that they have on it and you select the one you want). The grilled seafood was pretty much a bowl overfilling with seafood. There were gigantic calamari, huge octopus tentacles, mussels, clams, shrimp, crawfish, smaller octopus legs, clams, scallops … too many. I’m surprised I was actually able to finish it. I had one bite of the couscous and didn’t want any more. That’s how full I was. I’m also not a fan of couscous but I did want to try it. My girlfriends fraldinha was cooked well done(she likes it that way). I had a small piece but if it was cooked medium rare, it would have been delicious.(she hates it that way). For the desserts, I had one of the waiters bring the maitre d’ over because since she her recommendations was so good for my main course, I wanted her recommendation for the desserts. She recommended 3 items: the Brazilian sweets, the coconut mousse with a custard cream and Mille-feuille of dulce de leche. My girlfriend has already decided she was going to get the mousse and I decided to get the mille-feuille. What a great maitre d’!!! I don’t really eat desserts but this was delicious. When I bit into it, there was the crunchiness of the pastry, the smoothness of the cream and texture of the peanut butter that made everything perfect!!! We were going to come back again a couple of nights later but we managed to score a table at DOM. If I’m back in SP for an extended period of time, I will be coming back.

A qualquer hora(almoço, happy hour e jantar) você srá muuuuito bem tratado . Mas capriche no look pois o restaurante merece. é o mais top do grupo Egeu, deixa o Girarrosto no chinelo. Peça a Porccheta.

LOVELOVELOVE this restaurant. I’ve been there twice and the food, service and ambiance is superb. I love the feel of dining al fresco but actually not being outdoors. The place looks like a night club from the outside, once you pass the hostess desk you are welcomed by a large pool of water, beautiful wall plant and a centralized bar, this open dining area is just amazing. The restrooms are upstairs along with some private dining area, you can see the entire restaurant from above. Very cool design! The food is excellent and the servers really friendly. They have and extensive/great drink menu. I’ve been there for lunch and dinner and both were fantastic. I can’t wait to go back to Kaa next time i’m in Brasil!

Kaa has a great ambiance and environment with good food. It is a large restaurant, so it’s easy to get a table without a reservation. The décor is sublime. You walk in through oversized doors into a lobby with a waterfall and calm pool of water. Looking in, there’s a large and well-stocked bar to the right with plenty of seating. The left and further beyond the bar is filled with tables. There is shrubbery to offset the sleek lines in the furniture. It’s quiet so you can have a conversation without hearing the next table. The service is excellent. If your server doesn’t speak English, just ask for someone that does and they will be more than happy to assist. The food was pretty good. I started with the tuna tartare with mozzarella, lemon, and mint. The flavoring was refreshing and delicate, and the tuna was very fresh. For the main, I had the almond-crusted sea bass with hearts of palm and artichokes. It was a large dish. The fish was a little dry as was the almond crust, so I had to sip a lot of wine for it to go down smoothly. The palmitos were a nice touch to the fish, though. I had the tapioca and fresh coconut galette with dulce de leche for dessert. It was essentially a big flavored sticky rice patty, which I wasn’t expecting. It was very filling and a heavy way to finish the meal, but a good dessert if you weren’t too full from the first two courses. Overall, the ambiance is second to none and I’d go in a heart beat if you’re trying to maximum atmosphere. The food is good but not great.

Vale a pena conhecer!
