In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Sorocaba. The price is on the higher end but the quality of food is fantastic. I’ve been here numerous times and have tried a lot of the food. The dessert is one of the best that I have ever eaten in my life. More talk on that lower down. For the appetizer, you need to get the fig and presunto on a cracker with a balsamic reduction.(Toast de brie, figo, presunto cru e redução balsâmica). For the main course, any of the risotto’s are outstanding. However for me, I always get the duck(Magret de Pato). The duck comes with a risotto too. The duck is cooked and flavored extremely well so that when you bite into it, it pretty much melts in your mouth. If you’re not feeling that or if they ran out, get the jumbo shrimp(Camarões à Provençal). Those are amazing as well. For dessert, there is pretty much only one option. The tomato cake with a vanilla and basil ice cream.(Petite Gâteau — Tomate com sorvete de manjericão) This does not sound good but trust me, it will blow your mind away. The first time I came with my girlfriend, I inquired about this dessert because it seemed so far fetched. My girlfriend was completely against this. The waiter said it was really good so I told him to order it for the two of us. Just so you know, this takes quite a bit of time to make so order it when you order your main course so it will come out soon afterwards. Pretty much, when the plate came out, I tried a small part of the tomato cake(when you break open the cake, it’s like melted chocolate flows out but it is tomato). You can definitely taste the tomato flavor in the cake. The cake was really good on its own. I then tried a small part of the basil ice cream. This was also really good. I then tried all of them together. This was heaven in my mouth. On their own, the dessert is really good but together, it completely blows you out of the world. The combination of the two is simply fantastic. I came back for a company dinner and would not stop raving about how good this dessert was. Most of my co-workers were hesitant but when we had finished our main courses, everyone had ordered it. They kept saying that if it was bad, then they would never forgive me. One co-worker went as far to compare me to another co-worker who always ordered/raved about food but the food was just not good. Well. When the dessert came out and they ate it, the table was completely silent. Nobody wanted to talk because they didn’t want to waste time talking. That’s how good this tomato cake and basil ice cream is. Everytime I come here, I always get that dessert.
